speedstep, works

mobile PC には必須な speedstep がようやく動いた。
http://code.google.com/p/xnu-speedstep/ で配布されてる kext を放り込むだけの簡単レシピ。

sysctl -a|grep cputhrottle とすれば各種情報が参照できる。

ちょっと cpu に負荷をかけると、kern.cputhrottle_cpufreq が変化するのが確認できる。

HFS+ 上のファイルの attribute の変更

HFS+上のファイルの可視属性の調整は、/Developer/Tools/SetFile -a {V|v} でできる。おもに、UNIX的なファイルで Finder から見えて欲しくないといった場合に便利である。続く引数 V で invisible, v で visible となる。
